How Does Stepup Mentorship Programme Work?

The Stepup Mentorship Programme works through four Layers: 

  1. Vajiram and Ravi’s dedicated mentors with multiple UPSC interview experience will handhold you
  2. Sajal Singh Sir, Programme Director and Rhitayan Guha Sir, will be supervising your preparation and taking regular strategy sessions.
  3. Module Course classes will be conducted by Vajiram & Ravi highly experienced faculty.
  4. Based on your progress report, IAS/IPS Topper will connect with you on 1-1 calls and monthly fortnightly sessions. You will learn answer writing, note-making, articulations of thoughts and how to think like an administrator with your IAS Mentor.

Our StepUp Mentorship Programme is divided into four phases:

  • Phase 1: Foundation (March 2024- October 2024)
    • This phase is meant to build a strong foundation for the exam by covering the General studies syllabus in an Integrated manner for both Prelims and Main Examination. The activities will include curating personalized Study plans for holistic coverage of syllabus, answer writing, note making & Current Affairs consolidation. 
  • Phase 2: Integration (November 2024- February 2025)
    • This phase will serve as a Transition period where preparation for Mains will continue but along with shifting Gears for the Prelims Examination. 
    • The focus will be on Syllabus completion, Answer writing, Note Making along with increased Emphasis of reorienting strategy to tackle prelims examination. 
    • The activities will include answer writing along with feedback and evaluation, Prelims mock tests, making linkages between topics, developing analytical skills, and refining notes. 
  • Phase 3: PReX “ Prelims Exclusive” (February 2025- May 2025)
    • This phase is meant to revise the entire syllabus for the Prelims and focus on the areas of improvement. 
    • The focus will be on intensive Prelims focused preparation, covering the important topics, and solving as many questions as possible. 
    • The activities will include solving mock tests, revising notes, identifying weak areas, and strengthening them. 
  • Phase 4: MeX “ Mains Exclusive” (June 2025- September 2025)
    • This phase will help you impress the examiners, showcase your knowledge, and express your views effectively in the exam.
    • Focus of this Phase is to strategize syllabus completion and Notes Consolidation from Mains Examination point of View. Major Emphasis is on the development of Articulation and Answer Writing Skills. 
    • The activities will include writing tests, answer writing enhancement, value addition, and critical feedback from the Mentors.
