FREE INTERVIEW GUIDANCE PROGRAMME for IFoS 2023

The Personality Test is designed to determine a candidate's mental aptitude.

In broad terms, this involves an assessment of the candidate's intellectual abilities as well as her/his social traits and interest in current happenings.

Mental calibre, critical power of assimilation, clear and logical exposition, balance of judgement, diversity and depth of interest, ability for social cohesion & leadership, and moral integrity are some of the attributes evaluated.

The V&R Free Interview Guidance Programme for IFoS aims to assist students who will be taking the UPSC Indian Forest Service Personality Test in 2023 by having them participate in a mock interview in front of a panel of experts.

The Indian Forest Service Interview Guidance Programme seeks to help a candidate appear before the interview board armed with adequate knowledge, confidence and poise.

Candidates can secure a spot by registering for the mock interview of the Free Interview Guidance Programme 2023.

• Commences From: Coming Soon
• Duration of the Interview: Usually around 30 minutes
• Assessment: Following the mock interview, a candidate is provided a fair and candid assessment of her/his performance, diagnosing strengths and weaknesses as well as providing suggestions for improvement.
• Video Recording: A recording of the mock interview will be provided for self-analysis
• Mode: Available in Offline Mode only

“The interview method is not that of a strict cross-examination, but of a natural and purposive conversation. It is not intended to be a test either of the specialised or general knowledge, which has previously been tested through their written papers. Candidates are expected to have taken an intelligent interest not only in their special subjects of academic study but also in the events occurring both within and outside their own state or country, as well as in modern currents of thought and new discoveries that should pique the interest of a well-educated youth.”

The Indian Forest Service (IFoS) Interview Guidance Programme will help you through:

• Broad Spectrum of Questions: The range of questions asked by the panel will include questions on hobbies and their practical application, why he/she wishes to join the Forest Services, the candidate's opinion on current/historic issues, knowledge about the candidate's educational background, optional subjects, issues of the state to which the candidate belongs, international relations, current affairs, and so on. The interview board may also ask situational questions and request the candidate's opinion/response.
• Experienced and Exemplary Panellist: The panellists are recruited from various and prominent academic disciplines in order to  evaluate the candidate holistically.
• Comprehensive and Detailed Feedback: The mock interview is held in an emulated environment that closely resembles the actual UPSC interview. Candidates will receive assessment on their body language, confidence levels, and communication skills, in addition to feedback on their knowledge.
