It is <\/span><b>after Lake Titicaca in South America<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the <\/span><b>world&#8217;s second-largest high mountain lake.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The lake has a length of 182 km, a width up to 61 km, and a surface area of 6,280 sq.km.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is the<\/span><b> second-largest saline lake in the world<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> after the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/caspian-sea\/\" target=\"_blank\">Caspian Sea<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0 It is also the <\/span><b>largest lake in Kyrgyzstan.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It reaches a <\/span><b>depth of 668 metres<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and averages some 280 metres deep.
