{"id":10094,"date":"2023-04-25T03:22:58","date_gmt":"2023-04-24T21:52:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=10094"},"modified":"2025-03-29T17:19:14","modified_gmt":"2025-03-29T11:49:14","slug":"exercise-iniochos-23","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/exercise-iniochos-23\/","title":{"rendered":"Exercise INIOCHOS-23"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About Exercise INIOCHOS-23:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Exercise INIOCHOS is an <strong>annual multi-national air exercise hosted by the Hellenic Air Force, the air force of Greece.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It is <strong>based on the Single Base Concept<\/strong>, which means the entire exercise takes place from a single air base.<\/li>\n<li><strong>INIOCHOS-23:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>It will be <strong>conducted at the Andravida Air Base in Greece.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Objective<\/strong>: To enhance <strong>international cooperation, synergy and interoperability<\/strong> amongst the participating air forces.<\/li>\n<li>The exercise will be <strong>conducted in a realistic combat scenario<\/strong> involving multiple types of air and surface assets.<\/li>\n<li>It will also <strong>enable the participating contingents to engage in professional interactions<\/strong>, providing valuable insight into each other\u2019s best practices.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>IAF will be participating with four Su-30 MKI<\/strong> and <strong>two C-17 aircraft<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Apart from the hosts, the USA, France and Italy, and others like Jordan and Saudi Arabia are<strong> participating <\/strong>in INIOCHOS-23.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Q1)\u00a0What is the exercise \u2018Cope India\u2019?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Exercise Cope India, a bilateral Air Exercise between the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the United States Air Force (USAF).Cope India began in 2004 as a fighter training exercise held at Air Station Gwalior, India.
