To address these challenges and strengthen the entire cotton value chain, the Union Cabinet approved the <\/span><b>Mission for Cotton Productivity (2026\u201327 to 2030\u201331)<\/b><span a comprehensive approach to address bottlenecks in India\u2019s cotton sector by focusing on productivity enhancement, quality improvement, technological modernization, sustainability, and market cultivation methods such as High Density Planting System and Integrated Cotton Management will be promoted to improve yields.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Focus on Extra Long Staple Cotton<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Special emphasis will be given to increasing the production of Extra Long Staple cotton to reduce imports and support the textile
