


{"id":102648,"date":"2026-05-09T13:26:06","date_gmt":"2026-05-09T07:56:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=102648"},"modified":"2026-05-09T15:15:39","modified_gmt":"2026-05-09T09:45:39","slug":"grievance-redressal-assessment-and-index","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/grievance-redressal-assessment-and-index\/","title":{"rendered":"Grievance Redressal Assessment and Index"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Grievance Redressal Assessment and Index Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the department of administrative reforms and public Grievance, for March 2026 the department of financial services\u2019 insurance division tops Grievance Redressal Assessment and Index (GRAI) Rankings in Group A Category.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Grievance Redressal Assessment and Index<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is developed by the <\/span><b>Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first edition of GRAI 2022 was released on 21 June 2023.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Objective:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It evaluates ministries and departments on the <\/span><b>effectiveness and timeliness of grievance resolution <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">through the <\/span><b>Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS).<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It has been formulated based on <\/span><b>4 dimensions <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Efficiency, Feedback, ,Domain and Organisational Commitment and corresponding ) <\/span><b>and 11 indicators.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Key Facts about Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is an <\/span><b>online platform available to the citizens 24\u00d77<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to lodge their grievances to the public authorities on any subject related to service delivery.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was developed and monitored by the <\/span><b>Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG),<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a <\/span><b>single portal connected to all the ministries<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\/departments of the Government of India and States.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The status of the grievance filed in <\/span><b><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/centralised-public-grievance-redress-and-monitoring-system-cpgrams\/\" target=\"_blank\">CPGRAMS<\/a> can be tracked with the unique registration ID<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> provided at the time of registration of the complainant.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The grievances received on the CPGRAMS shall be resolved promptly as soon as they are received but <\/span><b>within a maximum period of 21 days.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source: <\/b><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleaseDetail.aspx?PRID=2258785&amp;reg=1&amp;lang=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PIB<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Grievance Redressal Assessment and Index is developed by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).
