text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Unlike Earth, Mars <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is <\/span><b>not protected by a global magnetic field<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, affecting how it interacts with the solar wind and space weather.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Zwan-Wolf effect was <\/span><b>observed in the ionosphere <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014 <\/span><b>deep within the Martian atmosphere below 200 km<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2014 which <\/span><b>contains <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">significant numbers of<\/span><b> electrically charged particles.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The data showed that <\/span><b>these charged particles <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">were being <\/span><b>squeezed and distributed around Mars\u2019 atmosphere.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;
