The surrender marks a key success in Jharkhand\u2019s anti-Naxal strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Operation Navjeevan<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Operation Navjeevan<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a <\/span><b>surrender and rehabilitation-driven initiative of the Jharkhand Police<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> aimed at &#8211; weakening maoist organisational structure, encouraging cadres to leave violence and reintegrating surrendered members into mainstream society<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The operation was <\/span><b>jointly carried out by the Jharkhand Police, its anti-Naxal unit Jharkhand Jaguar, and the COBRA unit of the <a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/central-reserve-police-force-crpf\/\" target=\"_blank\">Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)<\/a>.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Operation Navjeevan Impact\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maoists surrendered in Ranchi in the presence of senior police officials, including the Director General of Police.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The surrendered group included sub-zonal commanders, area committee members, and squad members from Maoist-affected regions like Kolhan, Saranda, West Singhbhum (Chaibasa), and Gumla. Many of them were involved in several criminal cases. Their <\/span><b>surrender weakens Maoist networks in these areas.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The group also <\/span><b>surrendered weapons and ammunition<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, including rifles and large quantities of bullets.
