The report highlights India\u2019s rapid digital transformation and its growing role in shaping the global AI ecosystem.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Key Findings of the SIDE 2026 Report<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The report assesses digital competitiveness across 71 countries and reveals a remarkable improvement in India\u2019s position.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">India climbed from 8th position in 2025 to <\/span><b>5th position in 2026<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in overall <\/span><b>digital economy rankings.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">India secured the <\/span><b>4th rank in the CHIPS-AI Index<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, behind only the United States, China and Singapore.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The country generated <\/span><b>approximately $328 billion<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in <\/span><b>digitally delivered trade<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, reflecting the growing importance of digital services exports.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">India possesses the <\/span><b>world\u2019s second-largest AI
