(IIIIDEM) team for completing 15 years in service of electoral training and management.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was <\/span><b>established <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in June <\/span><b>2011 by the <a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/election-commission-of-india-eci\/\" target=\"_blank\">Election Commission of India (ECI)<\/a><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to serve as a premier<\/span><b> global centre for electoral training, research, and capacity building.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It functions under the <\/span><b>direct supervision of the ECI <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and operates from its<\/span><b> independent campus in Dwarka, New Delhi.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In pursuance of its vision and mission, the<\/span><b> key functions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of IIIDEM are:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To promote and <\/span><b>lay down standards for professional competence in election management<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To <\/span><b>innovate electoral processe<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">s to promote electoral integrity and ease of voting<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To encourage and promote <\/span><b>research and knowledge development<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To develop<\/span><b> training, academic, and capacity-building programs<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To enrich democratic systems, values, and practices<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To promote<\/span><b> international cooperation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and global engagements<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IIIDEM aims to achieve its vision and mission by following a strategy based on <\/span><b>four key strategic pillars:<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Strengthen National Programs<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Expand Global Programs and Engagements<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Encourage <\/span><b>Research and Knowledge Development<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Promote Sustainable Democracy and Election Management<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It holds <\/span><b>domestic and international courses and training programmes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that are residential and non-residential.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IIIDEM collaborates and <\/span><b>partners with various national and international organizations <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">like the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) <\/span><b>on various aspects of democracy and election management<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Through MoUs, bilateral engagements, international conferences, exposure visits<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and customized capacity-building programs, IIIDEM fosters global cooperation.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Flagship initiatives<\/b><span
