<\/span><b>Karnataka\u2019s Kali Tiger Reserve<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/western-ghats\/\" target=\"_blank\">m<\/a><\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It marks the first addition to the genus Mimeusemia in nearly 30 years.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The g<\/span><b>enus Mimeusemia belongs to the forester moth group <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">within the Noctuidae family.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These <\/span><b>colourful moths <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are <\/span><b>primarily active during the day<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, although some species are also seen at dusk and may occasionally be attracted to light.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mimeusemia kali is distinct from closely related species because of its unique physical characteristics, reproductive structures and Reserve<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kali Tiger Reserve, earlier known as <\/span><b>Dandeli-Anshi Tiger Reserve,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 is located in the Uttara Kannada (North Canara) district of <\/span><b>Karnataka <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in the<\/span><b> Western Ghats.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It <\/span><b>comprises <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">two protected areas viz., <\/span><b>Dandeli
