including 200 people from the North East region, according to the Corporate Affairs Ministry.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Corporate Mitra Scheme<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was announced in the Union Budget 2026-27.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It aims to <\/span><b>empower<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> India\u2019s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/msme\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>MSMEs<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) through <\/span><b>trained and certified paraprofessionals called Corporate Mitras, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who will <\/span><b>serve the MSMEs.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Corporate Mitras will provide affordable and accessible <\/span><b>support in areas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> such as <\/span><b>regulatory compliance, GST, accounting, financial guidance, cost accounting, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>secretarial services.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This ensures that <\/span><b>MSMEs can focus on innovation and growt<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">h while meeting the regulatory compliance requirements with ease.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To ensure reach beyond metropolitan hubs, Corporate Mitras will <\/span><b>primarily operate in Tier-II and Tier-III cities.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scheme shall be implemented in <\/span><b>collaboration with following Professional Institutes (PIs)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICoAI).\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through this scheme, <\/span><b>youth will undergo a 6-month Academic Course and 6 months of On-the-Job training <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">providing exposure to real-life business environments and employment opportunities.\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Academic Course<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will consist of <\/span><b>144 hours of online structured learning<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and 6 hours webinar\/ physical learning).\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Eligibility Criteria <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for Candidates:\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Age Limit:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Candidates must be <\/span><b>up to 30 years.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Education Qualification:\u00a0<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Graduates <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">from any recognized university or\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Students currently in their final year of graduation <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(will be provided Corporate Mitra<\/span><b> Certificate only after completing graduation <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">successfully).\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>PIs <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will <\/span><b>recognize and award the best-performing candidates\/recognized firms\/LLP for engaging Corporate Mitra<\/b> <b>for On-Job training.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>candidates <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will be <\/span><b>free to select any professional firm\/ LLP recognized as \u201cmember in practice\u201d by the PIs for On-job training.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A <\/span><b>minimum prescribed stipend <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">as per ICAI\/ICSI\/ICoAI norms will be <\/span><b>paid by the professional firms<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\/LLP offering on-job training.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scheme will be <\/span><b>implemented through <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the online <\/span><b>Swayam Plus porta<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">l.\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Portal will serve as a centralized platform for end-to-end implementation of the Corporate Mitra Scheme.
