{"id":11070,"date":"2023-05-18T04:25:04","date_gmt":"2023-05-17T22:55:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=11070"},"modified":"2025-03-30T00:22:19","modified_gmt":"2025-03-29T18:52:19","slug":"national-ayush-mission-nam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/national-ayush-mission-nam\/","title":{"rendered":"National Ayush Mission (NAM)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About National Ayush Mission:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It aims to enhance the <strong>availability, accessibility, and quality of Ayush healthcare services<\/strong> across the country through <strong>Ayush Health Wellness centers (AHWCs)<\/strong> as part of Ayushman Bharat scheme.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mandatory Components:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>AYUSH Services<\/li>\n<li>AYUSH Educational Institutions<\/li>\n<li>Quality Control of ASU &amp;H Drugs<\/li>\n<li>Medicinal Plants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Union Cabinet has approved the operationalization of <strong>12,500 Ayush HWCs<\/strong> by upgrading existing Ayush Dispensaries \/ Health Sub-centre through State\/UT Governments in <strong>Centrally Sponsored Scheme<\/strong> in a phased manner.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Resource Allocation Framework:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>For AYUSH Services, Educational Institutions and Quality Control of ASU&amp;H Drugs:-<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>For special Category states- Grant-in-aid component will be 90% from Govt. of India and remaining 10% is proposed to be the State contribution.<\/li>\n<li>For other States\/UTs the sharing pattern will be 75%:25%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>For Medicinal Plants:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>This component will be financed <strong>100% by Central Government in North Eastern State<\/strong> and hilly State.<\/li>\n<li>In other states, it will be shared in the ratio of 90:10 between Centre and States.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>It was launched <strong>in 2014<\/strong> under <strong>Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) How are hills formed?<\/h3>\n<p>Natural hills are formed all the time, by different types of geologic activity. One of these activities is faulting, which happens because the rocks underneath the Earth&#8217;s surface are constantly moving and changing the landscape.
