{"id":11114,"date":"2023-05-20T07:49:33","date_gmt":"2023-05-20T02:19:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=11114"},"modified":"2025-03-30T00:37:52","modified_gmt":"2025-03-29T19:07:52","slug":"pashmina-certification-centre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/pashmina-certification-centre\/","title":{"rendered":"Pashmina Certification Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About Pashmina Certification Centre:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Labour and Employment termed PCC as a boost for Atamnirbhar Bharat, adding that it will <strong>provide certification for the purity of Pashmina products.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH)<\/strong> collaborated with WII to establish a Pashmina Certification Center (PCC) for its associated members <strong>involved in Pashmina Trade.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Purpose of setting:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>To streamline the Pashmina Trade.<\/li>\n<li>To provide a <strong>one-stop testing facility<\/strong> to certify genuine Pashmina Product <strong>free from any prohibited fibres<\/strong> to the associated manufacturers, exporters, and traders.<\/li>\n<li>All the tested products will be <strong>labelled with a traceable unique id tag <\/strong>with individual e-certificates, enabling a seamless trade of such products in national and international markets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Wildlife Institute of India:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>It was established in<strong> 1982 in Dehradun<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s an<strong> autonomous institute<\/strong> managed by the <strong>Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Aims &amp;
