text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is located in Jagdalpur in the Bastar district of <\/span><b>Chhattisgarh <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">state.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The National Park derives its name from the <\/span><b>Kanger River, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which flows centrally from the Northwest to the Southeast direction.\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Kanger River is a <\/span><b>tributary of the Kolab River<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which <\/span><b>ultimately joins the <a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/upsc-exam\/godavari-river-system\/\" target=\"_blank\">Godavari River<\/a>.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The total area of the National Park is 200 sq.km.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Topography<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: It features low flatlands, gentle slopes, steep inclines, plateaus, deep gorges, valleys, and winding stream courses.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Tirathgarh Falls, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which originates from the Kanger River, presents an enchanting view falling from a height of 150 feet.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The national park has more than <\/span><b>15 limestone caves<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, including the famous <\/span><b>Kotumsar, Kailash, and Dandak caves.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Flora<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Blend of <\/span><b>mixed moist deciduous type of forests<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with the predominance of <\/span><b>Sal, teak, and bamboo.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Fauna<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Major wild animals include <\/span><b>tigers, mouse deer, leopards, wildcat, s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ambar, chital, barking deer, langurs, jackals, rhesus macaque, flying squirrel, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;
