The <strong>SECURE acronym stands<\/strong> for <strong>Security, Economy and Trade, Connectivity, Unity, Respect for Sovereignty and Territorial Integrity <\/strong>and <strong>Environment.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>India has set up <strong>new pillars of cooperation<\/strong> under its Chairmanship &#8211; Startups and Innovation, <strong>Traditional Medicine<\/strong>, Digital Inclusion, Youth Empowerment and <strong>Shared Buddhist Heritage.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About Shanghai Cooperation Organisation:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The SCO was founded at a summit in <strong>Shanghai in 2001<\/strong> by the presidents of <strong>Russia, China, the Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>India and Pakistan<\/strong> became its permanent members <strong>in 2017.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The SCO is an influential <strong>economic and security bloc<\/strong> and has emerged as one of the <strong>largest transregional international organisations<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>SCO has two Permanent Bodies &#8211; (i) <strong>SCO Secretariat in Beijing<\/strong> (ii) Executive Committee of the <strong>Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS) in Tashkent<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure serves to promote cooperation of member states against <strong>terrorism, separatism and extremism.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The official working languages: <strong>Chinese and Russian.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) What is the work of Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure?<\/h3>\n<p>The Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS), headquartered in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, is a permanent organ of the SCO which serves to promote cooperation of member states against terrorism, separatism and extremism.
