style=\"font-weight: 400;\">found in the <\/span><b>high-altitude regions of the Himalayas.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is one of the most ancient brown bear lineages.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Scientific Name: Ursus arctos isabellinus<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is also known as the <\/span><b>\u201cHimalayan Red Bear\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the <\/span><b>\u201cIsabelline Bear\u201d.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It is known as <\/span><b>Denmo in the Ladakhi language.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is believed by some that the <\/span><b>bear\u2019s ability to walk upright <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">probably gave rise to the <\/span><b>legend of the Yeti or \u201cAbominable Snowman.\u201d\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Himalayan Brown Bear <\/b><b>Distribution<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They are found in <\/span><b>northwestern and central Himalayas,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> including <\/span><b>Pakistan, India, Nepal,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the T<\/span><b>ibetan Autonomous Region of China, and Bhutan.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They justify;\"><b>Males <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are <\/span><b>larger than females<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with an average length of 1.9 m and weight of 135 kg, in comparison to the female averages of 1.6 m and 70 kg.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It has <\/span><b>thick fur<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> which is most often <\/span><b>sandy or reddish-brown in colour.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Food<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:
