Guidelines for the PARIVARTAN Scheme.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About PARIVARTAN Scheme<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><b>PARIVARTAN<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Programme for Accelerated Renewal and Incentivization of Vehicle Assets for Reducing Transport Air Pollution and Network Emissions) was launched by the central government.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is aimed at facilitating the <\/span><b>replacement of older, highly polluting trucks<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>buses <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">operating in <\/span><b>the <\/b><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/difference-between-delhi-and-new-delhi\/\" target=\"_blank\">National Capital Region<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/difference-between-delhi-and-new-delhi\/\" target=\"_blank\"> (NCR)<\/a><\/strong> with cleaner <\/span><b>Bharat Stage (BS)-VI compliant or electric vehicles.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Implementing Ministry:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It is implemented by the <\/span><b>Ministry of Road Transport and Highways<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (MoRTH).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Funding:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It is funded by the <\/span><b>National Capital Region Planning Board<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (NCRPB)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>States Covered: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and NCT of Delhi issued notifications granting Motor Vehicle Tax<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Incentives under the Scheme<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Motor Vehicle Tax concessions, registration fee waivers,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>5% interest subvention<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on vehicle loans,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A minimum <\/span><b>8% OEM discount<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on eligible new vehicles,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Monthly fuel voucher support for eligible diesel and CNG replacement vehicles, and<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One-time financial assistance for electric replacement vehicles and <\/span><b>Certificate of Deposit (CoD) trading.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will be implemented through an integrated digital platform that will seamlessly interface with <\/span><b>VAHAN, V-Scrap, DigiELV, the Public Financial Management System<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (PFMS), participating
