It features Gatka, horse riding, archery, mock battles, processions, kirtan and community langars led by Nihang Sikhs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Kila Raipur Sports Festival<\/strong>: Popularly called the Rural Olympics, this event began in 1933 through the vision of Inder Singh Grewal. Held near Ludhiana during the first weekend of February, it attracts more than 4,000 participants and more than one million spectators with traditional races, kabaddi, tug of war, gymnastics, fencing and rural sports.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Patiala Craft Mela<\/strong>: Organised at the Sheesh Mahal Art Gallery in Patiala, this 15 day fair brings together nearly 150 craftsmen from across India. It showcases Phulkari embroidery, traditional Punjabi furniture, handicrafts, folk performances and cultural exhibitions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Diwali<\/strong>: Among Sikhs, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/diwali\/\" target=\"_blank\">Diwali<\/a><\/strong> commemorates the return of Guru Hargobind from imprisonment at Gwalior Fort.
