{"id":115116,"date":"2026-07-25T13:53:37","date_gmt":"2026-07-25T08:23:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=115116"},"modified":"2026-07-25T13:53:37","modified_gmt":"2026-07-25T08:23:37","slug":"bhavya-rasayan-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/bhavya-rasayan-scheme\/","title":{"rendered":"BHAVYA Rasayan Scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>BHAVYA Rasayan Scheme Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the Union Cabinet approved the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana Rasayan BHAVYA Rasayan scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About BHAVYA Rasayan Scheme<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was launched for the <\/span><b>establishment of three dedicated chemical parks<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> across the country.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scheme is designed to promote the <\/span><b>development of the chemical industry<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> across the <\/span><b>entire value chain,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> including upstream, downstream and ancillary industries.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Financial Outlay:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It has a total financial outlay <\/span><b>of \u20b93,030 crore<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, (\u20b93,000 crore for developing <\/span><b>common infrastructure facilities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and basic utilities within the parks and \u20b930 crore towards administrative expenses).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Time Period:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The scheme will be implemented over <\/span><b>five years, from FY 2026-27 to FY 2030-31.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Features of BHAVYA Rasayan Scheme<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Financial Assistance:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The Centre will provide financial assistance of <\/span><b>up to \u20b91,000 crore<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for <\/span><b>each chemical park,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> subject to a <\/span><b>minimum contribution of \u20b9500 crore<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by the respective <\/span><b>state government.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Selection Process:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The chemical parks will be <\/span><b>developed by state governments through a challenge-based selection<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> process, with each park requiring <\/span><b>at least 2,000 acres<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (8 sq. km.) of contiguous, encumbrance-free land.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The parks will feature <\/span><b>plug-and-play infrastructure<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tailored to the needs of the chemical sector, including<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs), Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facilities (TSDFs), water supply and distribution systems, solvent recovery and distillation facilities, steam generation and distribution networks, interconnected pipeline systems, and logistics and warehousing infrastructure.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source:<\/b> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=2288866&amp;reg=3&amp;lang=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PIB<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BHAVYA Rasayan Scheme was launched for the establishment of three dedicated chemical parks across the country.
