Ram Nath Kovind.<\/li>\n<li>As per this direction, five regional \u201cDivya Kala Shakti\u201d programs have already been held in various places, including the Western Region, North Eastern and Southern Region in Mumbai, Arunachal, Chennai, New Delhi, and Gauhati.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) Why is Varanasi called Kashi?<\/h3>\n<p>In the Mahabharata the city is referred to as K\u0101\u015b\u012b (\u0915\u093e\u0936\u0940: Kashi) from the Sanskrit verbal root ka\u015b- &#8220;to shine&#8221;, making Varanasi known as &#8220;City of Light&#8221;, the &#8220;luminous city as an eminent seat of learning&#8221;.
