The <\/span><b>tiger population has increased from 1,411 in 2006 to 3,682 in 2022<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, making <\/span><b>India home to over 70% of the world\u2019s wild tigers. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As tiger populations recover, many disperse beyond Tiger Reserves into villages, agricultural lands and forest fringes in search of new territories. According to the <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/national-tiger-conservation-authority-ntca\/\" target=\"_blank\">National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA)<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>nearly 35-40% of India\u2019s tigers now live outside Tiger Reserves, leading to increased human\u2013tiger interactions, livestock <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">seeks to promote safe and sustainable coexistence between people and tigers across shared landscapes through a science-based approach.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Establish a scientifically grounded, landscape-based framework for conserving tigers outside Tiger Reserves.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shift from reactive conflict response to proactive, technology-driven conflict
