The main objective of <\/span><b>Births and Deaths Registration Amendment Bill 2026<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is to strengthen verification, reduce fraudulent registrations and introduce stricter legal scrutiny for registrations made after long delays.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Births and Deaths Registration Amendment Bill 2026<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The<\/span><b> Births and Deaths Registration Amendment Bill 2026<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was introduced in the Lok Sabha by the Minister of State for Home Affairs after receiving Union Cabinet approval on 20 July 2026. It was passed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/lok-sabha\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Lok Sabha<\/strong><\/a> on 31 July 2026 through a voice vote.
