The office assists the Attorney General in legal matters and represents the Union Government before the Supreme Court, High Courts and other judicial forums.\u00a0 The office of Solicitor General was <\/span><b>established in 1950<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><b>C.K.
