Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will lead the 80th Independence Day celebrations in New Delhi. Its meaning is commonly understood as \u201cI bow to thee, Mother.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Author:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Vande Mataram was written by <a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/bankim-chandra-chatterjee\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Bankim Chandra Chatterjee<\/strong><\/a>. The composition was first published in Bangadarshan on November 7, 1875 and later appeared in Anandamath, published in 1882.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Language: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The composition uses Sanskrit and Bengali elements. The 2026 law focuses specifically on intentional prevention or disruption of its singing.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vande Mataram is accorded equal honour with Jana Gana Mana, based on the declaration made by <a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/dr-rajendra-prasad\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Dr. Rajendra Prasad<\/strong><\/a> on January 24, 1950.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The legal protection against disruption does not by itself mean that every person can be compelled to sing the National Song.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/upsc-exam\/supreme-court-of-india\/\" target=\"_blank\">Supreme Court\u2019s<\/a><\/strong> Bijoe <strong>Emmanuel Judgment (1986)<\/strong> remains important on individual conscience.
