{"id":119383,"date":"2026-08-16T12:58:32","date_gmt":"2026-08-16T07:28:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=119383"},"modified":"2026-08-16T14:03:36","modified_gmt":"2026-08-16T08:33:36","slug":"rsvc-amrit-platform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/rsvc-amrit-platform\/","title":{"rendered":"RSVC-AMRIT Platform"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>RSVC-AMRIT Platform Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India launched the RSVC AMRIT platform.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About RSVC-AMRIT Platform<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is developed by <\/span><b>NABARD in collaboration<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with the <\/span><b>Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (OPSA) to the Government of India.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AMRIT Platform serves as the <\/span><b>digital backbone of the RuTAGe Smart Village Centre<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (RSVC) ecosystem.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Focus:<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">supports rural innovation and technology transfer and enables wider adoption of appropriate technologies in rural areas.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is <\/span><b>designed as a comprehensive digital ecosystem<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> supporting the <\/span><b>complete RSVC lifecycle<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, from technology discovery and validation to deployment tracking, collaboration, monitoring and knowledge management.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The platform will progressively <\/span><b>bring together innovators, technology providers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, startups, validators, accelerators, implementation partners, funding agencies, academic institutions and rural communities on a shared platform.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>What is The Rural Technology Action Group (RuTAG)?<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is an initiative of the <\/span><b>Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (OPSA) which was launched in 2004.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was conceptualized as a mechanism to <\/span><b>provide a higher level of Science &amp;Technology<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> intervention and <\/span><b>support for rural areas.<\/b><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Objectives of <a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/rutag-initiative\/\" target=\"_blank\">RuTAG Initiative<\/a><\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Connecting Stakeholders:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Collaborating with <\/span><b>stakeholders Non-Government Organizations<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Self Help Groups, Community Organizations, and Start-ups to identify sector-specific technology needs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Demand-driven technologies:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Developing technologies based on <\/span><b>socio-economic data coherent <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with national\/regional priorities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Prototype Validation:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ValidatIng developed prototypes and explored commercialization with scalability aspects.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Commercialization:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Commercializing the potentially validated technologies for national\/global markets.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source:<\/b> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=2299885&amp;reg=48&amp;lang=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PIB<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RSVC-AMRIT Platform is developed by NABARD with the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to support innovation and rural development.
