The dances also express social unity, nature based traditions and local cultural identity.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Folk Dances of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Folk Dances of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">include tribal group dances and traditional performances of Diu. They are generally performed during important social and religious occasions. Colourful clothing, traditional ornaments, drums, wind instruments and folk songs add to their cultural character. Tarpa, Bhawada, Dhol and Tur and Thali are major dances of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
