{"id":120127,"date":"2026-08-20T14:21:09","date_gmt":"2026-08-20T08:51:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=120127"},"modified":"2026-08-20T14:21:09","modified_gmt":"2026-08-20T08:51:09","slug":"friends-of-my-bharat-initiative","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/friends-of-my-bharat-initiative\/","title":{"rendered":"Friends of MY Bharat\u2019 Initiative"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Friends of MY Bharat\u2019 Initiative Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has launched a new digital initiative, \u2018Friends of MY Bharat\u2019 initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Friends of MY Bharat\u2019 Initiative<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is an initiative of <\/span><b>the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It strengthens <\/span><b>engagement with Indian-origin youth living across<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the world and provides them opportunities to participate in <\/span><b>India\u2019s nation-building and youth-led programmes.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is developed through the Mera<\/span><b> Yuva Bharat (<a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/mera-yuva-bharat\/\" target=\"_blank\">MY Bharat<\/a>) platform.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Features of Friends of MY Bharat\u2019 Initiative<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Global Youth Engagement: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will <\/span><b>enable Indian-origin students,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> young <\/span><b>professionals and other youth residing outside<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> India to access information about nation-building activities, volunteering opportunities and youth programmes hosted on the MY Bharat platform.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Volunteering opportunities:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It will also provide information on <\/span><b>volunteering opportunities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in areas such as education, environmental protection, health awareness, disaster relief and cultural preservation.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A dedicated \u2018Know Your India\u2019 section will offer <\/span><b>curated information on India\u2019s culture<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, heritage, history, tourism, travel and prominent leaders.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The initiative <\/span><b>seeks to channel the ideas, skills, experiences and aspirations<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of global Indian youth towards India\u2019s development journey.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>What is MY Bharat Platform?<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat) was launched in <\/span><b>October 2023 under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The initiative aims to <\/span><b>place youth at the centre of nation-building<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by providing opportunities for volunteering, skill development, leadership and civic participation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It serves as a digital platform that connects the <\/span><b>Government, educational institutions, non-profit organisations<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and industry to create meaningful youth engagement.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source:<\/b> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=2301334&amp;reg=48&amp;lang=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PIB<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friends of MY Bharat\u2019 Initiative is an initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
