{"id":120750,"date":"2026-08-24T15:59:12","date_gmt":"2026-08-24T10:29:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=120750"},"modified":"2026-08-24T15:59:12","modified_gmt":"2026-08-24T10:29:12","slug":"cloud-and-ai-skilling-initiative","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/cloud-and-ai-skilling-initiative\/","title":{"rendered":"Cloud and AI Skilling Initiative"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Cloud and AI Skilling Initiative Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the government launched the nationwide cloud &amp; AI skilling initiative in collaboration with Amazon Web Services.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Cloud and AI Skilling Initiative<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It aims to provide <\/span><b>foundational AI and cloud literacy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to 1.5 lakh learners through Amazon Web Services (AWS) digital training content.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It offers intensive, job-ready training to <\/span><b>10,000 participants<\/b> <b>through the AWS re\/Start program.<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AWS re\/Start program is a <\/span><b>structured training programme<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> covering cloud infrastructure, networking, security, programming, databases and AI fundamentals.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was launched by the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/national-skill-development-corporation-nsdc\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>National Skill Development Corporation<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (NSDC) and <\/span><b>Cultus Education<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in <\/span><b>collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS).<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is supported by <\/span><b>the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Focus:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It will <\/span><b>focus on youth in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> across all states and Union Territories.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It addresses the challenges faced by youth including limited <\/span><b>access to globally recognised technical training,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> few connections to technology employers, and an absence of credentials needed to compete for cloud and AI roles.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will be <\/span><b>delivered entirely online<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> through Cultus Education, NSDC\u2019s selected delivery partner.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The initiative is designed to <\/span><b>create meaningful social and economic impact<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by expanding <\/span><b>access to high-quality technology training<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and employment opportunities for youth across India, particularly in underserved and emerging talent hubs.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The initiative will also <\/span><b>include a national hackathon<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, where participants will present cloud and AI projects.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source: <\/b><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleaseDetail.aspx?PRID=2302495&amp;reg=48&amp;lang=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PIB<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cloud and AI Skilling Initiative aims to provide foundational AI and cloud literacy to 1.5 lakh learners through Amazon Web Services (AWS) digital training content.
