Based mainly on <\/span><b>changes in temperature with altitude<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the atmosphere is divided into <\/span><b>five main layers: Troposphere, Stratosphere, Mesosphere, Thermosphere and Exosphere<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Layers of Atmosphere<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The five layers of atmosphere differ in terms of <\/span><b>altitude, temperature, composition and functions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The temperature does not change in the same way in all layers. It begins above the thermosphere and gradually merges with outer space. It can extend to around <\/span><b>10,000 km<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> above the Earth, although its exact outer boundary is not sharply defined.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Key Features of
