{"id":12290,"date":"2025-06-12T11:41:59","date_gmt":"2025-06-12T06:11:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=12290"},"modified":"2025-06-12T12:40:04","modified_gmt":"2025-06-12T07:10:04","slug":"exercise-khaan-quest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/exercise-khaan-quest\/","title":{"rendered":"Exercise Khaan Quest"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Exercise Khaan Quest Latest News<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Indian Army contingent reached Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia for the Multinational Military Exercise KHAAN QUEST, which is scheduled to be conducted from 14th to 28th June 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">About Exercise Khaan Quest<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a<\/span><b> multinational military Exercise.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The exercise will bring together military forces from around the world to collaborate and enhance their peacekeeping capabilities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>The last edition<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of Exercise KHAAN QUEST was conducted <\/span><b>in Mongolia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in 2024.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Background : <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The exercise first <\/span><b>started as a bilateral event between USA and Mongolian<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Armed Forces in the <\/span><b>year 2003<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Subsequently, from the <\/span><b>year 2006 onwards<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the exercise graduated to a Multinational Peacekeeping Exercise with the current year being the 22nd iteration.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Indian Army contingent comprising 40 personnel is being represented mainly by troops from a <\/span><b>Battalion of the KUMAON REGIMENT<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> along with personnel from other Arms and Services.
