{"id":122976,"date":"2026-09-05T12:59:51","date_gmt":"2026-09-05T07:29:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=122976"},"modified":"2026-09-05T12:59:51","modified_gmt":"2026-09-05T07:29:51","slug":"agentic-ai-skilling-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/agentic-ai-skilling-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Agentic AI Skilling Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Agentic AI Skilling Program Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) and Intel India have launched two Agentic AI skilling programmes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Agentic AI Skilling Program<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is aimed at expanding access to <\/span><b>industry-aligned Agentic AI learning opportunities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and contributing to the development of a future-ready AI talent ecosystem in the country.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was launched by the <\/span><b>National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (NIELIT), <\/span><b>Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (MeitY), in collaboration with Intel India.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under the initiative, <\/span><b>two programmes <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">have been introduced<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Agentic AI for Everyone<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It introduces learners to <\/span><b>workflow automation, AI agents<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and multi-agent systems, with a focus on improving productivity, enabling business transformation and supporting intelligent decision-making.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The programme provides <\/span><b>hands-on exposure to designing and governing AI-powered<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> workflows and agentic systems using no-code platforms.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Engineering Agentic AI Systems<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It focuses on designing, <\/span><b>building and deploying AI-powered agentic systems.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Learners will gain practical exposure to no-code\/low-code platforms and code-based frameworks, covering areas including agent architecture, tool integration, orchestration, memory and deployment to develop scalable and production-ready solutions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>What is Agentic AI?<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is an <\/span><b>advanced form of artificial intelligence<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> focused on autonomous decision-making and action.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It <\/span><b>consists of AI agents<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014machine learning models that mimic human decision-making to solve problems in real time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unlike traditional AI, which primarily responds to commands or analyzes data, <\/span><b>agentic AI can set goals, plan, and execute tasks<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with minimal human intervention.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAgentic\u201d indicates agency \u2014 the ability of these systems to act independently, but in a goal-driven manner.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At its core, this technology is built on several key components:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Perception:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Agentic AI starts by <\/span><b>gathering information from its surroundings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and different sources, such as sensors, databases, and user interfaces.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Reasoning:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Using a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/llm\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>large language model (LLM<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/llm\/\" target=\"_blank\">)<\/a>, agentic AI analyzes the gathered data to understand the context, identify relevant information, and formulate potential solutions.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Planning:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The AI then <\/span><b>uses the information it gathered to develop a plan<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This involves setting goals, breaking them down into smaller steps, and figuring out the best way to achieve them.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Action:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Based on its plan<\/span><b>, the AI takes action.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This could involve performing tasks, making decisions, or interacting with other systems.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Reflection:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> After taking action, the AI learns from the results.
