{"id":12366,"date":"2023-06-23T01:35:16","date_gmt":"2023-06-22T20:05:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=12366"},"modified":"2025-03-30T08:58:42","modified_gmt":"2025-03-30T03:28:42","slug":"grievance-redressal-assessment-and-index-grai-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/grievance-redressal-assessment-and-index-grai-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Grievance Redressal Assessment and Index (GRAI) 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About Grievance Redressal Assessment and Index (GRAI) 2022:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>It was conceptualised and designed by <strong>the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG)<\/strong>, Govt. of India.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Objective:<\/strong> To present an organisation-wise comparative picture and provide valuable insights about strengths and areas of improvement regarding the grievance redressal mechanism.<\/li>\n<li>Eighty-nine Central Ministries and Departments were assessed and ranked based on a comprehensive index in the dimensions of (1) Efficiency, (2) Feedback, (3) Domain and (4) Organisational Commitment and corresponding 12 indicators.<\/li>\n<li>To compute the index, data between January and December 2022, was used from the <strong>Centralised Public Grievance Redressal and Management System (CPGRAMS).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Key facts about CPGRAMS<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>It is an online platform available to the <strong>citizens 24&#215;7 to lodge their grievances<\/strong> to the public authorities on any subject related to service delivery.<\/li>\n<li>It is a single <strong>portal connected<\/strong> to all the <strong>Ministries\/Departments<\/strong> of the Government of India and States.<\/li>\n<li>Every Ministry and State have role-based access to this system.<\/li>\n<li>It is also accessible to the citizens through a standalone mobile application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>\u00a0Q1) What is Public administration?<\/h3>\n<p>Public administration refers to the implementation and management of government policies and programs.
