<\/span><b>annual report<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> published by <\/span><b>Oxford Economics,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a leading global economic advisory firm.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The index <\/span><b>ranks 1000 cities <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">across the world based on <\/span><b>five major factors: Economics, Human Capital, Quality of Life, Environment and Governance.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The rankings are designed to look at both a city&#8217;s present performance and its future potential.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>GCI 2026 Highlights:<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>New York<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has taken the <\/span><b>top spot <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in the index.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>London <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">has been ranked <\/span><b>second, followed by Paris<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at third, <\/span><b>Seattle <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at fourth, and <\/span><b>San Francisco<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at fifth.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>India Specific Findings:<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Around 100 Indian cities feature<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> among the 1,000 400;\">at <\/span><b>381<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Hyderabad at 421, and Pune at 427.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>55 Indian cities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> have secured spots among the <\/span><b>world&#8217;s top 100 fastest-growing city economies.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Delhi <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is currently the world\u2019s <\/span><b>63rd-largest city economy.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Oxford Economics projects that it could become the 14th-largest by 2050, with economic output exceeding USD 2 trillion.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Delhi\u2019s strongest performance<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> came in the <\/span><b>Human Capital category<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, where it <\/span><b>ranked 13th<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> globally, <\/span><b>ahead of Toronto, Seoul, and Beijing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Mumbai <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is India&#8217;s<\/span><b> leading city for corporate headquarters,<\/b> <b>ranking 23rd<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> globally on that measure.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Mumbai&#8217;s city economy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, currently the world&#8217;s <\/span><b>99th-largest<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, could rise to 36th-largest by 2050.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Bengaluru climbed 20 places<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to 311th globally and was named a <\/span><b>\u2018City to Watch\u2019,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> recording the <\/span><b>biggest improvement among<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> India\u2019s <\/span><b>six largest metropolitan cities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Bengaluru <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is also among the <\/span><b>10 fastest-growing cities globally<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by forecast GDP growth.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Chennai and Hyderabad ranked 16th and 15th<\/b><span
