It is mightier than the mightiest weapon of destruction.\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> For Gandhi, non-violence was not passive submission to injustice but a method of resisting injustice through truth, moral force and peaceful action.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Ahimsa:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Gandhi regarded non-violence as an ethical principle and a way of life, rather than merely the absence of physical violence.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Satyagraha:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It represented the pursuit of truth through non-violent resistance and moral force.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Non-Cooperation:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It involved withdrawing cooperation from an unjust authority as a means of peaceful resistance.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Civil Disobedience:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It involved peacefully refusing to obey unjust laws while accepting the legal consequences.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Dandi March 1930:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It demonstrated how disciplined, non-violent mass mobilisation could challenge colonial authority.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gandhi\u2019s approach later influenced movements beyond India, including the US Civil Rights Movement led by <\/span><b>Martin Luther King Jr<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">., while the broader Gandhian tradition influenced several struggles for political and social change.
