scheme.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About PM-DHARA Scheme<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The PM-DHARA stands for <\/span><b>PM-Developing Harmonized and Accelerated Renewable-energy Access.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will strengthen India\u2019s <\/span><b>Intra-State Transmission System (InSTS<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) to enable evacuation of up to <\/span><b>135 Gigawatt (GW)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of renewable energy across States\/ Union Territories.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It has provided for the deployment <\/span><b>of 50 GWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (BESS) at generator ends or other locations that are crucial for grid flexibility.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scheme is targeted for <\/span><b>implementation by FY 2032-33.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Financial Outlay:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Project outlay of Rs 1,86,405 crore, comprising Rs 1,36,378 crore for the development of <\/span><b>Intra-State Transmission Systems<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (InSTS) under <strong>Green Energy Corridor Phase<\/strong>-III (GEC-III) and Rs 50,000 crore for 50 GWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Scheme involves a total <\/span><b>Central Financial Support<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of Rs 54,082 crore.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Implementation<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All <\/span><b>Greenfield projects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> under the InSTS component will be implemented through <\/span><b>Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) mode<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Brownfield upgradation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and network strengthening works will be executed <\/span><b>under Cost Plus Basis (CPB).<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Implementing Agency<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: The <\/span><b>State Transmission Utilities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be the overall implementing agency, and Transmission Service Providers (TSPs) will
