5th Kautilya Economic Conclave (KEC) 2026<\/b> is being held from <\/span>3 to 5 October 2026 in New Delhi<\/b> under the theme <\/span>\u201cResilience in an Age of Flux.\u201d<\/b> It is being organised by the <\/span>Institute of Economic Growth (IEG)<\/b> in partnership with the <\/span>Ministry of Finance, Government of India<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The three-day conclave brings together more than <\/span>180 policymakers, economists, academics, financial experts and international thought leaders<\/b>, including over 80 international participants from around 30 countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the Kautilya Economic Conclave?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Kautilya Economic Conclave<\/b> is a platform for discussion on contemporary economic and policy challenges. It was first organised in <\/span>2022<\/b> by the Institute of Economic Growth in partnership with the Ministry of Finance.<\/span><\/p>\n

The conclave provides a platform where Indian and international experts discuss issues related to economic growth, finance, technology, trade, investment and global economic developments.<\/span><\/p>\n

5th Kautilya Economic Conclave 2026<\/b> covers major economic and policy issues arising from <\/span>global uncertainty, geopolitical shifts, technological disruption and changing patterns of trade and investment<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Major Sessions at Kautilya Economic Conclave 2026<\/b><\/h2>\n

Resilience in an Age of Flux: India\u2019s Economic Priorities<\/b><\/h3>\n

This special plenary will examine how India can <\/span>sustain growth, preserve macroeconomic stability and expand investment<\/b> amid global fragmentation, technological disruption and recurrent shocks. <\/span>Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman<\/b> will deliver the special address.<\/span><\/p>\n

India and the World: Adaptive by Design<\/b><\/h3>\n

The concluding session will examine how India can <\/span>preserve strategic autonomy, widen partnerships and respond flexibly<\/b> to a more uncertain and contested global order. <\/span>External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar<\/b> will deliver the special concluding address.<\/span><\/p>\n

Connected India, Empowered Finance: Building Trusted Digital Infrastructure for the AI Economy<\/b><\/h3>\n

The session will focus on how <\/span>digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence and new communication networks<\/b> can improve productivity while maintaining competition and trust. <\/span>Communications Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia<\/b> will deliver the keynote address.<\/span><\/p>\n

A World Priced for Risk<\/b><\/h3>\n

This session will examine how <\/span>energy shocks, supply-chain disruptions and the weaponisation of trade and economic access<\/b> are creating challenges for macroeconomic management, investment and economic resilience.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kautilya and a Resurgent India: Lessons for Emerging Markets<\/b><\/h3>\n

The session will examine the lessons that <\/span>India’s economic experience<\/b> can offer to emerging markets and will include international perspectives from experts from Chile and Indonesia.<\/span><\/p>\n
