This makes it one of the notable border mountains of the eastern Himalayas.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With an elevation of <\/span><b>7,462 metres<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, it is one of the prominent <\/span><b>7,000-metre peaks<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of the Himalayas and has considerable geographical and mountaineering importance.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The mountain forms part of the <\/span><b>Janak Himal<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and lies within a rugged landscape of <\/span><b>high-altitude glaciers, snow-covered ridges and steep mountain slopes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
