<\/span><b>honours <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the legacy of <\/span><b>Swedish theoretical physicist Oskar Klein.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span Prof. Sen<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at Stockholm University\u2019s AlbaNova Centre on 22 October 2026.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>What is String Theory?<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">String theory is a scientific framework that<\/span><b> attempts to explain how the universe works at its most fundamental level.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to this theory, the <\/span><b>smallest building blocks of matter<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are <\/span><b>not point-like particles but tiny, one-dimensional objects called strings.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>These strings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> can <\/span><b>vibrate in different ways<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with <\/span><b>each pattern of vibration corresponding to a different particle.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this way, string theory offers a <\/span><b>possible common framework for understanding<\/b><span
