National Innovation Challenge 2026.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Youth Co:Lab<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is co-led by the <\/span><b>United Nations Development Programme<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (UNDP) India and <\/span><b>Citi Foundation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, in partnership with <\/span><b>Atal Innovation Mission<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (AIM).<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Genesis of Youth Co:Lab:<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was <\/span><b>co-created in 2017<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by the <\/span><b>United Nations Development Programme<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (UNDP) and the <\/span><b>Citi Foundation.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>In India<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Youth Co: Lab was launched <\/span><b>in 2019<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in collaboration with <\/span><b>Atal Innovation Mission<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It aims to establish a common agenda for <\/span><b>countries in the Asia-Pacific region<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to empower and <\/span><b>invest in youth <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">so that they can accelerate the implementation of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/upsc-exam\/sustainable-development-goals\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> through leadership, social innovation, and entrepreneurship.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is implemented by <\/span><b>T-Hub Foundation.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It has emerged as a key platform for promoting <\/span><b>youth-led innovation <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and accelerating progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Key facts about Atal Innovation Mission(AIM)<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a flagship initiative set up by the <\/span><b>NITI Aayog in 2016.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Objective:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> To create and encourage an environment of innovation and entrepreneurship across schools, educational organisations, research institutes, and industries, including MSMEs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Functions<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Promote entrepreneurship by encouraging innovators to become entrepreneurs through financial support as well as mentorship.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Promote innovation by creating a platform where ideas are generated through like-minded individuals.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AIM has created <\/span><b>four programs to support these functions:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Atal Tinkering Labs, Atal
