{"id":13473,"date":"2023-07-27T07:09:41","date_gmt":"2023-07-27T01:39:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=13473"},"modified":"2025-04-02T04:39:56","modified_gmt":"2025-04-01T23:09:56","slug":"meri-maati-mera-desh-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/meri-maati-mera-desh-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under this campaign <strong>soil collected from different parts of the country<\/strong> in August will be used to develop a garden along the Kartavya Path in Delhi.<\/li>\n<li>Events have been planned at the panchayat, village, block, urban local body, and State and national levels, respectively.<\/li>\n<li>The five-point agenda includes the <strong>installation of a shilaphalakam<\/strong> (memorial plaque), as per specifications, bearing the \u201cnames of those who have made the supreme sacrifice\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Work for the shilaphalakam may be executed through the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), leveraging local materials and resources.<\/li>\n<li>\u2018<strong>Vasudha Vandhan\u2019<\/strong> envisages every gram panchayat or village renewing \u201c<strong>Mother Earth by planting 75 saplings<\/strong> of indigenous species and developing an Amrit Vatika\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>\u2018<strong>Veeron Ka Vandan\u2019<\/strong> will <strong>felicitate freedom fighters<\/strong>, and the families of deceased freedom fighters.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Young volunteers and others will collect soil from every panchayat\/village and bring it to the block, from where the \u2018<strong>Mitti Kalash\u2019<\/strong> will be transported to Delhi.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0In urban areas, events will be organised at local bodies, notified area councils, Cantonment Boards, and town panchayats from August 9 and 15, and in bigger municipalities and municipal corporations from August 16 to 20.<\/li>\n<li>The \u2018Mitti Kalash\u2019 are to be brought ceremoniously to the larger municipalities\/corporations and transported to Kartavya Path.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q) What is Freedom?<\/h3>\n<p>Freedom refers to the state or condition of being free from external restraint, coercion, or oppression.
