It\u2019s called <\/span><b>dengue hemorrhagic fever.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>This severe form<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of dengue fever <\/span><b>happens when the infection harms blood vessels <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>causes them to leak.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The number of <\/span><b>clot-forming cells<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, called <\/span><b>platelets, in the bloodstream<\/b> <b>drops.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This can l<\/span><b>ead to shock, bleeding <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">inside the body,<\/span><b> organ failure, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>death<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Individuals who are infected for the second time are at greater risk of severe dengue.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Dengue <\/b><b>Treatment<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is <\/span><b>no specific medicine<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to treat dengue.
