On Dec. 10, 2018, the spacecraft joined its twin\u2014Voyager 1\u2014as the only human-made objects to enter the space between the stars.<\/li>\n<li>It is currently the <strong>second most distant human-made object from Earth<\/strong>, after <a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/voyager-1-spacecraft\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Voyager 1.<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>Q1<\/strong>: What is the heliosphere?<\/h3>\n<p>The Sun sends out a constant flow of charged particles called the solar wind, which ultimately travels past all the planets to some three times the distance to Pluto before being impeded by the interstellar medium.
