{"id":13745,"date":"2023-08-05T11:54:09","date_gmt":"2023-08-05T06:24:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=13745"},"modified":"2025-04-02T06:57:32","modified_gmt":"2025-04-02T01:27:32","slug":"digital-portal-of-the-central-registrar-of-cooperative-societies-crcs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/digital-portal-of-the-central-registrar-of-cooperative-societies-crcs\/","title":{"rendered":"Digital Portal of the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies (CRCS)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>About Digital Portal of the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies (CRCS):<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is <strong>aimed at promoting ease of doing business in the cooperative sector<\/strong> and streamlining various processes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Objectives<\/strong>: Implementing completely <strong>paperless applications<\/strong>, ensuring <strong>automatic compliance with the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act (MSCS Act)<\/strong> and rules <strong>through software<\/strong>, enhancing the ease of doing business, enabling <strong>digital communication, ensuring transparent processing<\/strong>, and improving analytics and management information system.<\/li>\n<li>This project of computerization will prove particularly <strong>helpful in the registration of new Multi-State Cooperative Societies<\/strong>, <strong>simplifying their operations<\/strong> and creating a more efficient and transparent digital ecosystem.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Features<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>The digital portal will <strong>encompass various modules<\/strong>, including <strong>registration, amendment of bye-laws, annual return filing<\/strong>, <strong>appeal, audit, inspection<\/strong>, inquiry, arbitration, winding up, liquidation, ombudsman, and election.<\/li>\n<li>It will also <strong>incorporate the recently passed amendments<\/strong> to the Multi-State Cooperative Societies (MSCS) Act, 2002, and its rules.<\/li>\n<li>The portal will <strong>expedite the processing of applications and service requests<\/strong> <strong>through electronic workflow<\/strong>, facilitating a time-bound approach.<\/li>\n<li>It will <strong>also feature provisions for OTP-based user registration, validation checks to ensure compliance with the MSCS Act and Rules<\/strong>, hearing through video conferencing, issuance of registration certificates, and electronic communication, read the release.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1)\u00a0What is a Cooperative Society?<\/h3>\n<p>A co-operative society is often a voluntary association of individuals who come together with the intention to work together and to promote their economic interest. These societies work on the principle of self-help as well as mutual help. The primary goal is to provide support to the members.
