It <strong>is an independent international organization.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>In each country, <strong>an INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB)<\/strong> provides the central point of contact for the General Secretariat and other NCBs.<\/li>\n<li>Each NCB is run by police officials of that country and usually sits in the government ministry responsible for policing.
