They are,\n<ul>\n<li>green tourism;<\/li>\n<li>digitization;<\/li>\n<li>destination management;<\/li>\n<li>skills development;<\/li>\n<li>support for tourism micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>These priorities have been<strong> endorsed by all G20 countries<\/strong>,<strong> emphasizing their commitment to achieving sustainable, resilient, and inclusive tourism.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>India\u2019s vision of \u2018Travel for LiFE\u2019 (Lifestyle for Environment) has been incorporated\u00a0<\/strong>into the Goa roadmap.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\u00a0<\/h3>\n<h3>G20 Tourism and SDG Dashboard:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>It was\u00a0<strong>launched by the Union Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The dashboard will\u00a0<strong>serve as a global repository, showcasing the best practices\u00a0<\/strong>and case studies of sustainable tourism practices\u00a0<strong>and policies from G20 nations.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Key Facts about Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment):<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Mission LiFE, or\u00a0<strong>Lifestyle for Environment,<\/strong> is an\u00a0<strong>India-led global mass movement to nudge individual and community action to protect and preserve the environment.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It was\u00a0<strong>launched by the Indian Prime Minister at the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow in November 2021.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The program\u00a0<strong>hopes to \u201cmobilize one billion Indians as well as people in other countries<\/strong> to become individuals who practice sustainable lifestyles.<\/li>\n<li>It makes the fight against climate change democratic, in which everyone can contribute with their respective capacities.<\/li>\n<li>It emboldens the spirit of the<strong> P3 model, i.e. Pro Planet People.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It functions on the b<strong>asic principles of \u2018Lifestyle of the planet, for the planet and by the planet\u2019.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It aims at following a\u00a0<strong>three-pronged strategy for changing people&#8217;s collective approach<\/strong> towards sustainability,\n<ul>\n<li><strong>nudging individuals to practice<\/strong> simple yet effective environment-friendly actions in their daily lives (demand)<\/li>\n<li><strong>enabling industries and markets to respond swiftly<\/strong> to the changing demand (supply)<\/li>\n<li><strong>to influence government and industrial policy<\/strong> to support both sustainable consumption and production (policy).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) What are sustainable development goals (SDGs)?<\/h3>\n<p>The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, are a set of 17 interconnected global objectives established by the United Nations (UN) in September 2015. They were adopted by all UN member states as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, with the aim of addressing a wide range of global challenges and promoting sustainable development worldwide.
