system.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It is a\u00a0<strong>short-range air-to-surface missile.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It was\u00a0<strong>indigenously developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Dhruvastra is the\u00a0<strong>Air Force\u2019s version of Helina<\/strong> (<strong>Helicopter-launched Nag missile<\/strong>) ATGM.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Features<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>It is\u00a0<strong>equipped with Imaging Infra Red (IIR) seeker<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>operates in \u201clock on before launch\u201d mode.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>fire and forget missile<\/strong> has a\u00a0<strong>minimum range of 500 metres<\/strong> and a\u00a0<strong>maximum range of 7 kilometres.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It can be\u00a0<strong>launched from an altitude of up to 4 kilometres<\/strong> and can\u00a0<strong>hit targets moving at speeds of up to 70 kilometres per hour.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The missile can\u00a0<strong>engage targets both in direct hit mode as well as top attack mode.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It\u00a0<strong>works in all kinds of weather<\/strong>, during the day or night,\u00a0<strong>and in various types of terrain<\/strong>, such as deserts, plains, hills and forests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>What is Man-Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MPATGM)?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>It is a\u00a0<strong>man-portable version of the Nag missile<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>It was\u00a0<strong>developed by DRDO<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>It can be\u00a0<strong>carried and fired by infantry soldiers.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The MPATGM\u00a0<strong>has a range of 2.5 kilometres<\/strong> and can be\u00a0<strong>used for short-range
