They are the largest living structures on the planet.<\/li>\n<li>Each\u00a0<strong>coral is called a polyp<\/strong> and thousands of such polyps live together to form a colony, which grows when polyps multiply to make copies of themselves.<\/li>\n<li>They live in\u00a0<strong>a symbiotic relationship with microscopic algae<\/strong> called zooxanthellae (which live within the coral tissue).<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>zooxanthellae<\/strong> convert sunlight into food, providing corals with up to 90 per cent of their energy needs.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) What is the United Nations?<\/h3>\n<p>The United Nations (UN) is an international organization founded on October 24, 1945, following the end of World War II.
