{"id":16230,"date":"2025-12-06T11:32:50","date_gmt":"2025-12-06T06:02:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/?p=16230"},"modified":"2025-12-06T15:12:45","modified_gmt":"2025-12-06T09:42:45","slug":"exercise-harimau-shakti","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/current-affairs\/exercise-harimau-shakti\/","title":{"rendered":"Exercise Harimau Shakti"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Exercise Harimau Shakti Latest News<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recently, the Fifth edition of \u201cExercise Harimau Shakti -2025\u201d commenced in Mahajan Field Firing Range, Rajasthan.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>About Exercise Harimau Shakti<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a <\/span><b>joint military exercise<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> conducted between <\/span><b>India and Malaysia.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Indian contingent is being represented mainly by <\/span><b>troops from the DOGRA Regiment.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The aim of the exercise is to jointly rehearse conduct of <\/span><b>Sub Conventional Operations<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> under <\/span><b>Chapter VII of <a href=\"https:\/\/vajiramandravi.com\/upsc-exam\/the-united-nations-un\/\" target=\"_blank\">United Nations<\/a> Mandate.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Both sides will practice tactical actions such as cordon, search and destroy missions, heliborne operations, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Key Facts about Exercise Harimau Shakti \u2013 2025<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this exercise both sides will <\/span><b>rehearse drills to secure helipads<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and undertake casualty evacuation <\/span><b>during counter-terrorist operations.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Both sides will exchange views and <\/span><b>practices of joint drills<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on a wide spectrum of <\/span><b>combat skills <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">that will facilitate the participants to mutually learn from each other.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sharing of best practices will further enhance the level of defence cooperation between Indian Army and Royal Malaysian Army.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Significance:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The exercise will also foster strong bilateral relations between the two nations.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Source: <\/b><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=2199345&amp;reg=3&amp;lang=2#:~:text\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PIB<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Exercise Harimau Shakti  is a joint military exercise conducted between India and Malaysia.
