Their languages have an affinity with Austro-Asiatic groups under the Tibeto-Burman family.<\/li>\n<li>Ethnically they are divided into 2 major clans namely\u00a0Meska and Molsoi.<\/li>\n<li>They speak a\u00a0language known as \u201cKaubru\u201d which has a tonal effect on the Kuki language though broadly it is the\u00a0Kok-Borok dialect.<\/li>\n<li>Occupation: They are still\u00a0a nomadic tribe and a large number among them maintain their livelihood involving Hilltop Jhum Cultivation and other food gathering activities.<\/li>\n<li>They believe in\u00a0spirits and the existence of a soul.<\/li>\n<li>By religion they are Hindus and most of their deities are akin to gods and goddesses of the Hindu faith.<\/li>\n<li>They are traditionally endogamous and do not marry outside their community.<\/li>\n<li>In their tradition the village council chief known as\u00a0\u201cRAI\u201d permits Divorce and Widow marriage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Q1) Who are the nomadic tribes?<\/h3>\n<p>A nomadic tribe is a group of people who do not have a permanent settlement and instead move from one place to another in search of resources such as food, water, and grazing land for their livestock.
